Welcome to By Evy Photography, located in Stavanger, Norway. Photography is my passion and I am in my happy place when I have a camera in my hand, edit or talk photography with fellow enthusiasts. When I can make someone feel valued, beautiful or special through my images it warms my heart.
I love to capture images that evoke emotions and can be treasured in years to come. I am a wife and mother to two girls. I love to spend my spare time with friends, family, travel, hiking, gardening and baking.
During my photo session I love to get honest expressions and I am drawn to beautiful light and especially sunsets.
I am mother of two wandering little souls living amongst the mountain and fjords in Norway. As my children were born my passion for photography grew with them, and it has become a love affair with life.
As a photographer my aim is to capture life's little moments to be treasured for years to come. Each image tells a story and when the years go by and memories fade your can pick up a photograph and small forgotten details emerge, which always brings a smile to my face. Time pass so fast, yet each image, each photo book is the key to unlock all those fond moments often forgotten.
When I photograph I want to create images that evoke an emotion with the viewer. If asked to describe my photography in three words I would use the following:
Dreamy: evoking a sense of wonder and nostalgia, using movement and texture
Emotive: convey a specific feeling or mood
Life: honesty of life by using natural environment and surroundings
